Born in Maputo in 1966, Luis attended primary and secondary boarding school at C.B.C. Pretoria and graduated from the University of Witwatersrand in 1990 with a Bachelor of Science in Civil Engineering.
Luis has supplemented his technical expertise with Diplomas on Finance, Effective Interpersonal Skills and Construction Management, obtained through the South African universities of Witwatersrand and Stellenbosch.
With over 30 years work experience in Mozambique in a diversity of engineering and construction projects, Luis has held positions of M.D. of an international construction company from 1998-2002 where he worked from 1993-2002. He is a registered engineer at the Department of Construction and Public Works of Mozambique. In 2003, he founded 7MARES Lda and plays a key role of spear-heading Turnkey Projects.
Selma was born in Nampula and attended secondary school overseas before returning to Mozambique in 1992. Selma is a founding member and CFO of 7MARES Lda and leads the financial and administrative department of the company.
Born in the North-West Province in South Africa, Koos completed his primary and secondary schooling in Klerksdorp. Koos graduated from University of Stellenbosch in 1975 with a Bachelor of Science degree in Civil Engineering degree. In 1989 he completed the Advanced Executive Programme at the Business Leadership School of the University of Stellenbosch.
Koos has worked on projects in Mozambique since 1995 as a Civil and Structural engineering consultant. Koos has been the Design Engineer for 7MARES Lda since it was founded in 2003. He is a registered Engineer at the Department of Construction and Public Works of Mozambique and a Professional Engineer registered in South Africa.
Koos shares his worktime between South Africa and Mozambique. In Mozambique, he spends his time with Luis Nunes working on strategies to deliver Turnkey Projects.
Francisco was born in Maputo in 1971 and has worked in the construction industry for his entire professional life.
Francisco has been with 7MARES since it was founded in 2003 and heads up the production department. He is highly regarded with all of our clients.
Mario holds vast experience in the civil construction industry and has been with 7MARES since 2004.
Mario has worked on projects for our major Clients in the Food & Beverage, Oil & Gas, Aluminium and Hotel industry. In addition, Mario has led operations for other commercial builds, road works and petrol stations. Mario is a complete manager on site and a stalwart of our production operations.
Frederico was born in Nelspruit in 1996 and attended primary and secondary school in Maputo. He graduated from the University of Bristol in 2017 with a Bachelor of Engineering degree in Civil Engineering. In 2019, Frederico graduated from the University of Sydney with a Master of Engineering degree in Civil Engineering, specialized in Foundations and Structures.
Frederico has worked in Australia since 2018, primarily as a consultant for foundations systems such as piling, soil nails and anchored walls for bridges, buildings and transport infrastructure. Frederico joined 7MARES full-time in 2022, having completed shorter periods of work for the company from 2016 to 2018.
Camalos was born in Maputo in 1982 and holds a diploma in Logistics. He has been with 7MARES since 2006.
Camalos heads up the Buying and Logistics Department and is responsible for the dispatch of goods to all sites across the country.
Edilson was born in Maxixe, Inhambane Province in 1994 and attended a secondary school in Maputo. He graduated from Eduardo Mondlane University in Food Processing Engineering in 2020.
Edilson is accredited in International General Certificate in Occupational Health and Safety by NEBOSH, UK. He also holds training certification in Hazards identification, Permit to Work Recipient and Risk management. With extensive experience in HSE having participated in construction and OIL & Gas industry projects.
Edilson heads up the SHE department since joining 7MARES in 2024.
Domingos was born in Maputo in 1995. He has a degree in civil construction from the Beira industrial and commercial institute has worked in the construction industry since 2017.
Domingos joined the 7MARES Team in 2017 as a Site Engineer.
Rabeca was born in Maputo in 1996. She holds a degree in Architecture & Urban Planning from the University of Edwardo Mondlane, having graduated in 2020.
Since graduation Rabeca has been working as an Architect and with 7MARES since 2022.
Salustiano was born in Maputo in 1997. He has a degree in civil engineering from the Apolitecnica university and currently he is studying a master’s degree in project management.
Salustiano has worked in the construction industry since 2018. He joined 7MARES in 2023 where heel works has a Site Engineer.
